Mad Maiden Shrub

MAD MAIDEN SHRUB is a full-strength drinking vinegar that starts with organic apples from Wisconsin orchards.
It makes a refreshing soft drink, aperitif or digestif when mixed at a ratio of 1 part shrub to 4 parts sparkling or still water and served over ice.
Feel free to add honey, stevia, maple syrup or cane sugar and a dash of salt.

Old Sugar Distillery Absilution
Over ice:
1 oz Mad Maiden Honey Ginger Shrub
3 oz Old Sugar Factory Honey Liqueur
1 tsp Absinthe
1 dropperful of Bittercube Bolivar Bitters
Top off with:
Club Soda
Meyer Lemon or Lime Wedge

Green Owl Apricot Stone Sour
1 1/2 Jigger Apricot Brandy
1/2 Jigger Mad Maiden Honey Ginger Vinegar
1/2 Jigger Triple Sec
Top with: Orange Juice
Pour in rocks glass
Pour into shaker
Sugar the rim
Pour back into glass

Spicy Coconut-Honey-Ginger Shrub
1 oz Mad Maiden Honey Ginger Shrub Vinegar
2 oz Coconut Drink or Coconut Soda
1 3/4 oz Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
Pour in glass over ice

Moscato Punch
1 oz Mad Maiden Honey Ginger Shrub Vinegar
5 oz still or fizzy water
5 oz Moscato Wine
Pour in glass over ice
